Maddie is a NYU Tisch School of the Arts acting graduate who has been performing theatre for 20 years, and working with children for nearly as long. She has taught theatre at the DCPA’s summer camps, Dora Moore Elementary School, and Denver School of the Arts. Maddie believes giving children ownership over their own stories on stage can do wonders for their confidence, teamwork, and creativity. She reinforces and encourages children throughout every Experience, and is also a personal chef and certified yoga instructor.

Maddie has also worked as a personal chef for the past six years. She started as a way to support her life as a theatre artist while living in Brooklyn, and what began as a side hustle quickly grew in to a larger passion when she started her own small business “BarrsKitchen.”

Madeline has over 15 years of childcare experience, and is vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19.
