This experience, designed for children ages 5-7, will teach children about Italian art and culture, the artist and inventor Leonardo da Vinci, and his painting of the Mona Lisa. They'll also learn a few Italian words and watch a short, educational video about Italy.
With the help of an Italy mini book, kids will explore some of the main characteristics of this diverse and beautiful country. With a few more Italian vocabulary words under their belts including the worlds for colors, children will begin an art project and continue to learn about the life and works of Leonardo da Vinci. They'll create their own Mona Lisa figures, interpretations, and future masterpieces. Molto bene!
