What better way to gain and expand curiosity about Earth’s rich history, and what our landscapes, animals, and seas were like long ago, then to see it up close at the Denver Museum of Science and Nature!
Children will be guided by Abbey on their walking tour of the Prehistoric Journey Exhibition, stopping in the book nook area to work on the Dinosaur Floor Puzzle. Here, kids will also enjoy a storytime with Abbey, either practicing reading aloud themselves or being read to. At the Sea Lily Reef diorama, they'll seek and find creatures that once inhabited our ancient sea floors; tactile exploration will take place at the Dinosaur Bone Bar; and then the group will take a short film-break to learn about the K-T boundary layer and asteroid collision that meant “lights out” for the Dinosaurs, and from which came the emergence of mammalian life.
Abbey will meet your child at the entrance to the museum, and the Experience will end in the same place for easy pick-up.
Gather a group of friends to turn up the fun, and the price goes down for everyone.
