About Hannah

Originally from Indiana, Hannah is a multi-disciplinary maker. She holds a degree in Textile Art from Earlham College, and an MFA in Integrative Studio Practice from Herron School of Fine Art. She has been teaching since her undergraduate days as a TA in weaving. Most recently, she has been leading crochet and weaving workshops to students of all ages across the Bay Area, including orienting college students in fabrication as well as teaching art to young kids ages 3-9 in a Reggio Emilia-inspired setting. Her art and teaching practice is rooted in sustainable making, zero-waste, and using only recycled, reclaimed, donated, and found materials.

Hannah is vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19.
