About Jessica

Colorado native, dog mama extraordinaire, and doting auntie, Jessica loves working with (and learning from) kids. Jessica is a former collegiate athlete who volunteers at a children's hospital and is headed to medical this year. She is constantly inspired by childlike inquisitiveness and open-mindedness and can't wait to play sports, engage, and imagine with your children.

Jessica is vaccinated against COVID-19.

We did a movie experience. The kids watched Clifford and had a blast. The leader was fantastic with our kids! The kids were dying to see the movie. I was able to catch up with the other moms while the kids were busy having fun. It was a win win!

My kids loved their time with Jessica. They learned about engineering while having so much fun. Jessica was able to balance the needs of my 7 year old and 4 year old (which is not an easy feat!). My kids loved her so much that they hid her shoes so she wouldn’t leave. 🤗

Teacher Jessica came with great activities for my 6 and 3-year-old. The activities were entertaining for both kids. Jessica was great with them as well. I really liked being able to get a few things done but still be there to help or snap a picture.

My kids were a little skeptical before their experience started. They said “why do we have to do school on a weekend?” But they ended up loving it and even asked Ms Jessica if she could come teach another one tomorrow. All 4 of my kids (from 5-10 yrs old) were so jazzed the whole time and loved each part of the activity. We’ll definitely consider using this again, especially over summer break!!

My four year old and I both loved our Grasshopper experience. Jessica was engaging, organized and fun. My son loved the experiments they did together, and I loved knowing that while I got a break, he was getting such an engaging experience. Our first grader really enjoyed the heart STEM activity. It tapped into her science and math interests, and was a nice mix of activities. She was able to explain what she learned and demonstrate her model heart, so it was clear she retained what she learned. Our teacher left the home as clean (probably cleaner!) than she found it.

This is our second experience with Jessica and she is patient, creative and helps to meet the kids where they are. The Snowy Science was awesome and my favorite was the Scientific Method and experiment but my daughter was crazy about the snow making!

Loved Grasshopper - everything was seamless. The activity leader was prepared, timely, and engaged. My daughter is typically very shy of new sitters or adults and she opened up right away. We work remotely and could hear her chatting and laughing away. We will definitely be using Grasshopper again.
