Learn the basics of Chess and Kendama from Teacher Nathan who's been playing for over a decade. Children will understand the foundational rules of the game of Chess, how every piece moves, and the goal of the game. Kendama is a traditional Japanese skill toy that takes a lot of practice. The game is played by tossing the ball into the air and trying to catch it, but it's not as easy as it sounds!

More magnetism and fun built upon foundational concepts. Kids will make wooden blocks levitate; use magnets to recreate classic paintings; stack coins to see the transference of a magnetic field; build small “pinball” boxes; and more! A magnetic experience for curious kids who want to dive deeper into electricity and magnetism!

In this live wire experience, kids will learn about electricity, how it works, and how we use it to power our home appliances and devices. They will design and implement several different circuits. In longer experiences, kids will also gain exposure to switches, transistors, modulating electrons, and conductivity. Supercharge their learning: with circuits!

This kid-friendly, STEM experience will introduce your child to magnetism. Children will experiment with bar magnets, learn about magnetic forces and poles, draw magnetic field lines, and magnetize ordinary objects.
