By using materials found in their own backyards, they will create vibrant leaf and flower mandalas, enchanting watercolors from plants, and colorful plant weavings. Nature takes center stage as students go on plant walks to discover local treasures, sparking their imagination to craft unique stories and artwork inspired by their discoveries. With hands-on activities like pressed flower art and flower pounding into fabric, children will develop not only their creativity but also an appreciation for the wonders around them. 🌼 Every week is a new opportunity to embrace the harmony of art and nature!

With a background in Environmental Design from CU Boulder, she infuses her teaching with creativity and environmental awareness.
