Join Teacher Carmel on an artistic adventure at the newly renovated Martin Building at The Denver Art Museum. Children will create their own collages, and participate in several reflective and exciting activities on-site with Carmel at The Creative Hub! Alongside the magnificent works of art housed within the museum, Carmel will guide children through inquiry on what inspires artists, and together read the book, "Anywhere Artist," by Nikki Robinson. Kids will traverse the museum with Carmel, analyzing and enjoying paintings and mixed media artwork through engaging questions, imaginative thought exercises, and story telling! Children will also stop for a snack break at the museum cafe. Snacks/lunch may be pre-packed, or purchased during the experience at the cafe by Carmel (please advise on your wishes should you choose the latter).
