What could be yummier than designing your own fabric dessert? Teacher Marsha has developed a delectable sewing experience for your child aged 4 to 12 years old. Using a variety of materials, children will design and create adorable, non-edible desserts in the form of a plushy, magnet, or small bag. These desserts won't make a mess or leave little hands sticky, but they will teach kids to imagine and either hand sew or use a sewing machine. De-lish!
Fashion designer and in-demand sewing instructor, Marsha has taught sewing privately for the past 13 years. Before teaching, she worked as a seamstress in her university's theater costume shop while studying to be designer. Marsha currently teaches a variety of after-school sewing programs, and has instructed hundreds of private students ages 3 and up in their homes, beginning with hand-sewing and more advanced technique on sewing machines for older aged schoolchildren. She's excited to bring needle and thread, creativity and fun, to your kids!
