Encanto Español! This interactive and immersive language experience will introduce kids to the Spanish-Colombian culture through the inspiring and magical lens of the Disney film, "Encanto." Throughout the series, your child will learn Spanish language and vocabulary, discover the rich history and traditions of Colombia, and explore the vibrant local cultures throughout the country and presented in the film. Activities will include traditional music and dance, cooking local delicacies, Colombian crafts and traditional games.
Camila is a native Spanish speaker originally from Bogota, Colombia. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Foreign Languages at the Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, and has being teaching Spanish, English and French for over five years. She is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Linguistics. Throughout Camila's experiences, she creates outside-the-box, fun and engaging opportunities for children learn and practice languages immersively and interactively. Whether it be yoga and dance, cooking and baking, or painting and performing arts: there are so many ways to introduce new vocabularies and world cultures!
