This is a week-long, full-day (8-2P) -- also bookable as a series over multiple weeks -- adventure throughout which children will be immersed in magical world creation with everything to do with Fairies, Mother Earth, Unicorns, Dragons, and more! Ideal for homes with an open yard space or a nearby park, there are three parts to most days of Fairy Camp: time spent outdoors collecting natural materials and casting spells; creative time indoors (or out, but typically with a table) designing and crafting many magical objects; and, if desired, time in the kitchen baking related treats and delectables. Every day includes story time chock full of books that tell tales of wonder and whimsy.
For Grasshopper @ School, a 1-hr weekly enrichment version of Fairy Camp may unfold as follows:
On Day 1, kids will start building their Fairy Houses, which they'll be developing all series long. They'll pick their own Fairy Names.
Day 2, they'll paint fairy doors and toadstools, and may add painted mushrooms and more whimsy to their Fairy Houses.
Day 3, the second stories of Fairy Houses will go up. Fairy Wands will get started.
Day 4, kids may create Fairy Gardens, continue on their Fairy Houses, and wrap up Wands.
Day 5 and ongoing, the camp or series wraps with final touches on Fairy Houses, and last sprinkles of Fairy Dust on all magical creations before kids head home!
