During this in-your-kitchen experience, kids will learn and bake the recipes for traditional French desserts: from crepes, to madelines, to sablés, and more. During series, they'll bake a new patisserie each week, and learn about the country of France and the regions from which their delights hail, create French crafts, and gain new French vocabulary words as they travel through their experiences. Elizabeth lives in Petaluma, is a long-time preschool teacher (currently the director of a preschool in Sonoma), grandmother, and a "Mary Poppins of curriculum and pedagogy." She loves to introduce children to different ways of learning, and foster their interests in new things. She has over 60 units of early childhood education, and is CPR and First Aid certified. Fluent in French, Elizabeth teaches French, has worked in catering, and is an extensive cook and baker.
