Grasshopper Beginning Reading Series

This series is a fun and interactive reading adventure designed for young children who are just beginning to read!

In this series, you'll follow the exciting tales of a group of curious and adventurous Grasshoppers as they explore the world around them. Each week, the kids and their Grasshopper guide will go on a new adventure, from flying through fields of flowers to leaping over bubbling brooks and encountering a variety of fascinating creatures along the way.

As kids follow their Grasshopper friends, they'll also learn new words and practice their reading skills. Depending on level, they'll start with simple and easy-to-understand language with plenty of helpful visual cues and illustrations to support along the way.

This Grasshopper Kids series is perfect for young readers who are just starting out, or pre-readers fostering a love of books, as the focus is on building confidence and excitement around the wondrous world of reading. So come along for a weekly adventures and discover the joy of reading with Grasshopper Kids!

Stef loves teaching Science, Art, Reading, and Social Emotional Learning to young kids. For her, experience- and project-based learning offers an opportunity to dig deeper, and go further with understanding and exploration. Her education and background is in working with preschoolers, Kindergarten and 1st graders, with over 12 years of experience in classrooms, schools, and nannying.
