This is a multi-week series throughout which children will be immersed in magical world creation with everything to do with Fairies, Mother Earth, Unicorns, Dragons, and more! Kids will spend creative time designing and crafting many magical objects. Every day includes story time chock full of books that tell tales of wonder and whimsy.
For Grasshopper @ School, here is an example 1-hr weekly enrichment version of Fairy Camp (offering may change depending on group size and students' ages and interests):
The first week, kids will start building their Fairy Houses, which they'll be developing all series long. They'll pick their own Fairy Names.
Next, they'll paint fairy doors and toadstools, and may add painted mushrooms and more whimsy to their Fairy Houses. Fairy Wands will get started.
In the later weeks, kids may create Fairy Gardens, continue on their Fairy Houses, and wrap up Wands.
To conclude the term, final touches on Fairy Houses, and last sprinkles of Fairy Dust on all magical creations before they head home!
