Kids will have a chance to practice and learn basic drawing skills with attention to form, shading, and composition in this introduction to pencil-drawing experience. Beginning with warm-up activities that explore one-line drawings and blind contouring, the majority of the experience will be dedicated to a study of a 3-dimensional object using graphite pencils. Depending on age, level, and ambition, kids can select objects to try drawing them for the first time, or deepen their skills: spheres, cubes, fabrics, wooden mannequins, etc. Sharpen your pencils for this one!
