Budding artists will also have the opportunity to learn about famous artists who have mastered different techniques and left their mark on the art world. Through interactive activities, they will discover the unique art methodologies of these masters and how to incorporate them into their own work. With a focus on hands-on learning, the program encourages children to unleash their imagination and express themselves through various mediums. From mastering the art of shading to creating stunning collages, new skills and techniques will be showcased and developed every week. Nora is graduating with her degree in English Education in Spring of 2024, and is experienced in tutoring and working closely with children in various learning environments. She's worked as a part-time, in-school, and after school educator for K-12 students for organizations including 826 Valencia and the Alameda County Library. A talented generalist teacher who can support students of all ages in many subjects including reading and literature, writing, and math, Nora also loves to travel. She shares that "culture teaches you so much about yourself," and incorporates world cultures into many of her educational experiences.
