This Kindergarten Readiness series is designed to help your kids get ready for the start of their very first school year! Each week, books centered around SEL (Social Emotional Learning) will be chosen to help introduce children to concepts such as Growth Mindset, Having Empathy, Being Kind, Following Rules, Emotions, Problem Solving and Persistence.
They'll sing and play fun movement games like Head Shoulders Knees and Toes, The Wheels on the Bus, Herman the Worm and more! Kids will do crafts that help encourage listening and following step-by-step directions as well as strengthen those fine motor skills. They'll play literacy games with letters, rhyming, silly sounds, as well as math games learning numbers, counting, shapes, colors, and patterns.
At the end of each week, kids will get to take home an early reader with pattern predictable print that encourages the first stages of reading. Bookable as a 6-week series, or week-long half-day camp during summer.
