About Phoebe

Montessori Teacher and Dancer

Phoebe is a fun, creative, and enthusiastic teacher. She's worked closely with kids as a teacher and tutor for 4 years, and babysat and nannied for 13. She also worked in a Montessori school environment as an assistant teacher with preschoolers and school-aged children (5 year-olds). Phoebe loves sharing her passions with kids, and inspiring and sparking creativity through imaginative experiences and play-based learning. Her hobbies include cooking and baking, where she shines in the kitchen.

Phoebe has an extensive background in dance, beginning from a young age. She studied ballet technically starting at age 8, and intensively training well through college before deciding she would not pursue a professional ballet career as others in her family have. Along the way, she's learned and performed modern, hip hop, and jazz dance with several performance groups and companies. She's also done aerials work, and belly dancing!
