Jesse's Comic Book Experience will teach children the fundamentals of creating their very own mini-graphic novel. Leading kids through the entire process, children will first design and discover their main character. Once they've developed their protagonist's "look," complete with name and some backstory, they'll begin sketching their character's story.
As reinforcement, Jesse will bring several comics and introduce the concepts of "story." They'll practice drawing characters, heroes and villains, and get as far along in developing the comic as they can in the time. Art styles and drawing technique will be explored throughout this Experience. For new artists, this Experience will be collaborative and Jesse and your child will co-create a comic they'll get to keep. For children further along in art, Jesse will challenge their abilities and teach them new tricks so they can grow and let their artistic prowess shine! This Experience is also available as a multi-week series to develop a full comic.
