Multi-Instrument Music Camp is a great way for kids to jam during summer break while exploring and expanding their musical horizons! This enrichment camp offers a unique and exciting opportunity for budding musicians to learn the fundamentals of music across a variety of instruments, including recorder, Ukulele, piano, keyboard, flute, and saxophone. No worries if they've never played any of them before! The goal of this camp is to give kids exposure to lots of instruments, types of music and sounds. With expert instruction and hands-on practice, campers will wrap their week with new knowledge, skills, and an appreciation for music that will stay with them for a lifetime. Also part of the camp week will be games, puzzles and adventures, so developing brains have time to process and create new pathways, and have a whole lot of fun. Book for your child and their friends an enriching Summer!

About Connor

Musician and Chess Teacher

Connor is a musician and chess player now in his last year of university. He started playing chess in 1st grade, and has been an enthusiastic lover of the game and the way chess' logical reasoning has lent itself to other parts of his life ever since. He has been working closely with kids for the past 7 years as a music teacher, math and english tutor, camp counselor, and youth chess instructor. His teaching philosophy reflects back to his own experiences as a kid where his most positive learning experiences were with teachers who really cared about what they were teaching. Connor is a lifelong learner himself!

Connor is AED, First Aid, and CPR certified. He is vaccinated against COVID-19.

What Parents Are Saying

We LOVED everything about Grasshopper! The customer service experience was exceptional! I felt like so much intentionality was taken to ensure that the activity would be both age appropriate and fun for my kids. Our experience leader was so easy going and chatted with the kids during the experience, and really took the time to engage and get to know them. We are definitely going to be using Grasshopper again! Thank you!

Grasshopper offered my daughter an opportunity to learn in a vibrant, fun setting that was continuously customized for her attention span and interests. Her Grasshopper teacher was fun, engaging and supremely personable. She took the time to get to know my daughter before diving into anything. I felt more than comfortable leaving my daughter in such capable hands…and love that she truly learned some new things from the experience. We will be using Grasshopper regularly to broaden her horizons and expose her to new concepts in a safe and compelling way. The icing on the cake is that the experience took place in our home, at a time that was convenient for us!

Our Grasshopper experience was amazing! I have four very curious kids at different ages with different interests, and the experience had all four of them engaged the whole time. Also, as an educator, I was very impressed with how the teacher led the program. She obviously knew what she was doing, and the minute she left, my kids were asking for another experience.
