Parla Italiano! ("Speak Italian!" Series)

This 5-week series will focus on learning the basics of the Italian language through hands-on activities like cooking Italian recipes, learning songs, art, story time, music and games. Kids will also learn about Italian life, history and culture, music, art, and sports. Everyone will be encouraged to speak Italian throughout the series, and interact with one another practicing mini-dialogues. By the end, kids will have a better understanding of 'la bella lingua' and 'la dolce vita!'

About Sara

World Language Teacher

Sara is a credentialed World Language teacher in California, and currently teaches K-12 Spanish at San Domenico in San Anselmo. Her MA is in Foreign Language (Italian, English, French, and Spanish). She is also a native Italian language specialist and verified translator (you can find her listed with Italian Consulate General of Italy in San Francisco for translations as well!). Sara has worked on transcriptions projects in the past and has a media and broadcasting background. She's a Mill Valley mom and avid tennis player!
