Kids love games, and have an innate sense of wonder about the world around them. Tabletop gaming is a great way to nurture kids' creativity, and engage them in reading, math, and storytelling (which translates into presentation and negotiation skills down the road!). There are tons of great role-playing board games for kids that incorporate adventures and campaigns, monsters and heroes! These types of games are fantastic for the imagination, and for those beginning to learn and understand how to layer complex rule structures.
