Get ready for a creative exploration that transforms everyday items into extraordinary works of art! 🧶 In this vibrant series, students discover the magic of upcycling, turning cloth, egg cartons, paper, and even popsicle sticks into something entirely new and exciting. Armed with their imagination and tools like staplers, hot glue guns, and colorful yarn, kids will dive into a world where sustainability meets creativity. Each session invites children to learn problem-solving skills as they design and craft unique art pieces, unlocking the hidden potential in what others might see as scrap. Watch as children light up with pride at their creations, while learning the value of resourcefulness and innovation along the way! 🌟

Parking Instructions

Parking:

Enter the driveway off of Gull Ave. at 1998 Beach Park Blvd. in Foster City. Park behind the blue building and enter through the glass doors from the parking lot.

Arrival Instructions

Arrival:

Upon arrival, the instructor should check in at the front desk upon arrival and sign in with our front desk staffer. The class will take place in room 106 - They can come as early as 3pm. Students will be brought to the room by 3:30pm for the workshop class.

Departure Instructions

Departure:

After the class, all students highlighted in Yellow should go to the front desk for pick up. All remaining students will return to their on-site after-school program - Ara can walk them to Room 110, aka the Learning Lab, and we can support all students getting to the right room.
