🎶 Saddle up for a musical adventure as students journey into the world of Western Music Theory! This engaging learning series offers kids the opportunity to explore the foundations of music in a lively and interactive setting. Through activities that focus on reading music and developing aural skills, children will train their ears to recognize different sounds and pitches. They will embark on an exploration of rhythm, melody, and harmony that ignites their imagination and expands their creativity. Whether they're young Mozart-in-the-making or just dipping their toes into the world of sound, students will enjoy building a strong musical foundation while having an incredible time. 🌟

Parking Instructions

Please park in the school’s parking lot.

Arrival Instructions

Please park in the parking lot at 3900 Alameda de las Pulgas, San Mateo. Proceed to the fenced-off playground (someone will open the gate for you). Once you're settled / ready for class, please pick the kids up from the playground and bring them to your classroom.

Departure Instructions

Afterward, please bring them back out to the playground and connect them with a supervising adult. The Extended Care team will handle pickups/parents. The campus is very small, so this will all be clear when you arrive.

Violist and Diverse Music Educator

Kasey, a dedicated and talented violist from North Carolina, blends classical training with a vibrant passion for music that inspires students and artists alike. Beginning her musical journey playing the viola in middle school, Kasey quickly excelled, gaining acceptance into prestigious orchestras and the renowned North Carolina School of the Arts by age 15. With a strong background studying under esteemed musicians, Kasey seamlessly integrates diverse styles like Hip Hop, Country, and Jazz into her performances. Her love for teaching shines through in both private lessons and engaging afterschool programs, where she fosters creativity and musical exploration among her students.
