Parking Instructions

We have street parking that is free for 2 hours. It can be a bit challenging, so please plan time for parking. We also have a garage connected to the Grace Cathedral that is a flat rate $18/day.

Arrival Instructions

  • Please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to your first class start time. This will give the EDP Staff time to show you your classroom, go over emergency procedures, and clarify any questions about dismissal.
  • Please have all instructors bring a Valid form of ID in order to check into CBS’s visitor system.

Departure Instructions

  • (Does not apply to individual music lessons- students will meet the instructor in the designated classroom.)
  • After arriving on campus and dropping off supplies at your designated classroom, please come to the Extended Day classroom 5 minutes before the start of your class to assist in bringing your students down to class. This extra time will ensure there is enough time to transition to the classroom.
  • Please walk the entire class to Jones Street promptly at the end of class and supervise for 10minutes while they are picked up and loaded into their cars by our Security Guard. After the 10 minutes, please walk any remaining students back up to the Extended Day Room.
  • For the first 2 weeks of classes, a member of the EDP staff will assist in dismissal procedures to ensure the instructor is comfortable with the procedure.
  • After dismissal is complete, please do one final walk-through of your classroom to make sure the space is left how it was found.

About Marianna

Cultural History and Crafts Teacher
Marianna brings a unique fusion of European cultural depth and American adaptability to her teaching. Her passion for crafts, history, and education stems from her days in a historical dance group during college. This unique background fuels her engaging teaching style, particularly evident in her role at the Ukrainian School in San Francisco where she taught embroidery to children. As an interpreter and moderator for USA Supports UA, she bridges cross-cultural connections, fostering English learning through storytelling. Marianna's love for learning, commitment to kindness, and creativity make her classroom a haven of discovery and joy.

What Parents Are Saying

“”
We LOVED everything about Grasshopper! The customer service experience was exceptional! I felt like so much intentionality was taken to ensure that the activity would be both age appropriate and fun for my kids. Our experience leader was so easy going and chatted with the kids during the experience, and really took the time to engage and get to know them. We are definitely going to be using Grasshopper again! Thank you!

Grasshopper offered my daughter an opportunity to learn in a vibrant, fun setting that was continuously customized for her attention span and interests. Her Grasshopper teacher was fun, engaging and supremely personable. She took the time to get to know my daughter before diving into anything. I felt more than comfortable leaving my daughter in such capable hands…and love that she truly learned some new things from the experience. We will be using Grasshopper regularly to broaden her horizons and expose her to new concepts in a safe and compelling way. The icing on the cake is that the experience took place in our home, at a time that was convenient for us!

Our Grasshopper experience was amazing! I have four very curious kids at different ages with different interests, and the experience had all four of them engaged the whole time. Also, as an educator, I was very impressed with how the teacher led the program. She obviously knew what she was doing, and the minute she left, my kids were asking for another experience.
