🎨 Spark every child’s creativity in this magical series exploring the vibrant world of yarn-based crafts! Each session invites kids to dive into the joys of weaving, crochet, macrame, and more—boosting fine motor skills and self-expression with every loop and stitch. As their confidence grows, so will their toolkit. They'll start with just hands and yarn, progress to finger weaving, then move into crochet and knitting techniques—building up to two-handed, two-needle projects. Kids will also get to explore fun methods like broomstick lace, Tunisian crochet, two-string crochet, airy mesh, and cable knits. Through crafting together, kids will not only create beautiful pieces—they’ll also build friendships, confidence, and lasting memories. 🧶

2 hours of free street parking is available around the school.

Arrival Instructions

Arrival:

Class starts at 3:15 pm, so please arrive by 3 pm to set up. Our address is 625 Hamilton Street. When you face the church office door, take the stairs down on the left to access the school. You will be cooking in the Studio. We are a micro school, and children attending the class will come directly to the studio.

Departure Instructions

Departure:

• The classroom, studio, should be left clean and tidy (as it was when you arrived).

• Parents picking up after the class will be at the door.

• Children staying for child care will need to be taken to Rosalia (our childcare supervisor) down the hall, to the back courtyard.

Marianna brings a unique fusion of European cultural depth and American adaptability to her teaching. Her passion for crafts, history, and education stems from her days in a historical dance group during college. This unique background fuels her engaging teaching style, particularly evident in her role at the Ukrainian School in San Francisco where she taught embroidery to children. As an interpreter and moderator for USA Supports UA, she bridges cross-cultural connections, fostering English learning through storytelling. Marianna's love for learning, commitment to kindness, and creativity make her classroom a haven of discovery and joy.
