This exciting STEM series invites kids to dive into the thrilling world of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. 🌟 Through hands-on experiments and interactive challenges, children can become the trailblazers of tomorrow, exploring concepts that encourage problem-solving skills, creativity, and a keen sense of discovery.

From building awe-inspiring structures to exploring the marvels of science and technology, kids will embark on a journey where learning feels just like play. With each week, their curiosity will ignite, driving them to dream big, think differently, and create boldly within a supportive environment. Parking Instructions

There is a parking lot located at the back of the school on Hollister Street. Additional parking is also available in front of the school on Gilman Street.

Arrival Instructions

Upon arriving at the front of the school, please ring the doorbell to be buzzed in. Once inside, turn right, go up the stairs, and make another right to reach the main office, where you’ll sign in. An elevator is available if needed. After signing in, the instructor will proceed to room 114 to check in with the Site Coordinator, Ms. Afu Luatutu

Departure Instructions

Your instructor will not need to handle student pick-up. A Beacon staff member will be supporting your instructor throughout the session. The instructor will be stationed in the auditorium, and Beacon program instructors will bring the students directly there. This way, your instructor only needs to focus on setting up and preparing for class.

About Loren

Bilingual Educator & Aspiring Biomedical Engineer
Loren is a passionate educator dedicated to inspiring young minds through her diverse teaching experiences and interests. A native Spanish speaker and biomedical engineering student, she has spent six years nurturing children as a teacher's assistant, summer camp leader, tutor, and babysitter. Loren brings expertise in teaching Spanish, reading, writing, math, science, and chess across both Honduras and the United States. Her love for astronomy, art, and history enriches her teaching, making learning an exciting adventure.
