Little explorers embark on a colorful journey through art-themed adventures, discovering the Spanish words for everyday wonders like the universe, house, and body. Using easily accessible materials, kids engage in hands-on activities that bring their imaginations to life with crafts and visual art projects. Every session is an opportunity for creative expression as children expand their Spanish vocabulary while crafting their amazing masterpieces. This series promises an enchanting mix of art, fun, and language learning, all while fostering a creative spirit! 🎨✨

Parking Instructions

Street parking can be found around in the neighborhood. 

Arrival Instructions

PJ will be able to open the back gate for you. If you enter through the front of the school, they can buzz you in as long as you say you are with the YMCA Enrichment. 

There MUST ALWAYS be a YMCA staff when an instructor is with a group of students. Youth will meet Kendra and Grasshopper Teacher at the tables outside of the cafeteria. Students will be dismissed at 3:45p and transition to the classrooms at 3:55p. 

Departure Instructions

PJ will dismiss the students accordingly.

About Loren

Bilingual Educator & Aspiring Biomedical Engineer
Loren is a passionate educator dedicated to inspiring young minds through her diverse teaching experiences and interests. A native Spanish speaker and biomedical engineering student, she has spent six years nurturing children as a teacher's assistant, summer camp leader, tutor, and babysitter. Loren brings expertise in teaching Spanish, reading, writing, math, science, and chess across both Honduras and the United States. Her love for astronomy, art, and history enriches her teaching, making learning an exciting adventure. In her free time, Loren enjoys playing chess, swimming, boxing, exploring poetry, and visiting museums.
