In the thrilling adventure of the STEM Lab, students are invited to become young makers and innovators! Through playful exploration and engaging hands-on activities, kids will design, build, and create their own projects—turning ideas into real, tangible creations. 🌟 This series nurtures problem-solving skills and sparks creativity in a vibrant environment where imagination meets invention. Along the way, it may also include opportunities to explore Python programming or other coding tools as one of the many ways to bring their ideas to life. With every challenge, children grow more confident experimenting, collaborating, and transforming their imaginative concepts into amazing creations. Let’s explore endless possibilities and make, build, and innovate together!

If one gate is closed when you get to campus go to the other side where you turn right at the light and that gate should be open

Arrival Instructions

Arrival:

- Please plan to arrive by 3:30 PM each session. This allows time to set up before students arrive.

- I will be on campus before you arrive to make sure rooms are unlocked and ready so you can bring in any materials you need.

- I’ll be nearby each session in case you need any support.

Departure Instructions

Dismissal:

At dismissal, students enrolled in STEM or Chess will report directly to their assigned classroom.

  • Grades 3rd–5th: Students will wait outside Room 101 until you are present and ready to invite them in.
  • Grades 6th–8th: Students will wait outside Room 209 until you are ready to begin.
  • Grades 2nd-5th Chess: Still finding a room

- Once students are inside, you may begin class and take attendance. ( Once we get a number of kids enrolled I'll have an attendance sheet filled out for you) Bring the sheets to me after every class for billing purposes.

Site-Specific Information

3rd to 5th grade STEM will be in room 101

6th-8th grade STEM will be upstairs in room 209

Robert's transition from a thriving technology career to teaching is driven by his passion for mentoring and community service. With expertise in coding languages such as Python, Java, and JavaScript, along with substantial experience as an adjunct faculty member, Robert brings a wealth of knowledge to his teaching roles. Additionally, his journey in Karate, which began as a hobby in 1992, has led to an impressive rank of third-degree black belt. For over 15 years, he has shared the discipline and art of Karate with youth and adults, instilling confidence and resilience.
