Additional Notes:
🎨 Spark every child’s creativity in this magical series exploring the vibrant world of yarn-based crafts! Each session invites kids to dive into the joys of weaving, crochet, macrame, and more—boosting fine motor skills and self-expression with every loop and stitch. As their confidence grows, so will their toolkit. They'll start with just hands and yarn, progress to finger weaving, then move into crochet and knitting techniques—building up to two-handed, two-needle projects. Kids will also get to explore fun methods like broomstick lace, Tunisian crochet, two-string crochet, airy mesh, and cable knits. Through crafting together, kids will not only create beautiful pieces—they’ll also build friendships, confidence, and lasting memories. 🧶

Notes for Teacher:

Parking Instructions

Please arrive between 3:30pm and 3:35pm in order to figure out parking.

The school has two lots you can park in.

450 San Antonio Road (main entrance) is also the entrance to our drive through pick up. That being said, if you are able to park in the lot, that is great - otherwise you may get stuck in the pickup line.

490 San Antonio Road (last of four gates) is where the pickup line ends. You may also park there, and if you would like to avoid being stuck in the line, you are more than welcome to enter at the 490 gate (the last of four gates 490 San Antonio Road).

Once you see the parking, parking will seem fairly easy.

Arrival Instructions

Upon arrival, there will be a guard at both gate entrances. Please let them know you are there for Chugim to see Cena. Outside near the picnic tables. There will be a Hausner staff member who is giving snacks to the students. Students are expected to be headed to classroom locations with the instructor by 3:45pm.

Departure Instructions

Students should be escorted to the lower school front office (in 450). Students should not be left until instructor checkouts with front office staff.

What Parents Are Saying

“”
We LOVED everything about Grasshopper! The customer service experience was exceptional! I felt like so much intentionality was taken to ensure that the activity would be both age appropriate and fun for my kids. Our experience leader was so easy going and chatted with the kids during the experience, and really took the time to engage and get to know them. We are definitely going to be using Grasshopper again! Thank you!

Grasshopper offered my daughter an opportunity to learn in a vibrant, fun setting that was continuously customized for her attention span and interests. Her Grasshopper teacher was fun, engaging and supremely personable. She took the time to get to know my daughter before diving into anything. I felt more than comfortable leaving my daughter in such capable hands…and love that she truly learned some new things from the experience. We will be using Grasshopper regularly to broaden her horizons and expose her to new concepts in a safe and compelling way. The icing on the cake is that the experience took place in our home, at a time that was convenient for us!

Our Grasshopper experience was amazing! I have four very curious kids at different ages with different interests, and the experience had all four of them engaged the whole time. Also, as an educator, I was very impressed with how the teacher led the program. She obviously knew what she was doing, and the minute she left, my kids were asking for another experience.
