Today's class went pretty good. I accidentally. There's like multiple schools called Platte River. Whichever the school was called. So I went to the wrong School. Thankfully, I was early, so I arriving to the wrong school. It was just 10 minutes down the road. So the school? Because I went inside to the wrong school, they provide me the address to the right school. So that was the most hiccup I experienced today. Basketball. When really goes the kids, the staff was very friendly and helpful and direct me where to go because I wasn't familiar with this school. I'm not sure if I would go here again because it was quite a long drive for me. It was like, 55 minutes going and then like an hour plus was traffic. So I don't think I would do this again. And also just, I was able to get out of school early today, but I don't think I would do this. This again in the future but it was a nice experience nonetheless.
We played various games such as around the world basketball freeze tag and knockout.

Today we did basketball manias. I'd like to call it. We just play the three mini-games basketball-related many games. So we did basketball, freeze, tag, knock out and around the world basketball freeze tag have the students dribble the ball around the basketball court, while keep to continue, dribbling their own ball. And there is Is a taggers and they have to dribble their own basketball. And taggers essentially had to knock the ball out of the other players hands, without fumbling their ball, then around the world was a game where I set up some cones, have the students shoot from each cone. So they made the first shot, they got your moves to the next cone and so on and so forth. But if they It's, they went to the back of the line, and then another student would shoot and then knock out as a classic basketball game, where students, you know, challenge each other to try to make as many shots as they can and in a row without a knockout, the other opponents basketball. So I'll just good skills to help the students. Continue their basketball.

Yeah. Yesterday's class could have gone a little bit better. The students since they were getting frustrated with the origami project they started getting really like antsy and pressure. And then one a pretty big space here at this school, like we're in the cafeteria but it's only us and they're so at some point some of the kids got up and started doing like, cartwheels and backflips. Wish I was exaggerating, but no, which I could understand to a degree because it's hard for kids of this age group to kind of sit still, especially something proves to be a little bit more challenging there. They seem to kind of want to give up. I tried to give them a couple stretch breaks in between while we were folding the origami. But yeah, it wasn't our best class that I've had with them but partially because the project I will not partially lat Largely because the project was very frustrating for them. And I don't want this to be a frustrating experience for them. So next time I'll pick something that's not that's still fun but it won't be as exhausting for them.
Today in the class, we were not today yesterday since I'm turning this inlay. But we've did origami where at least attempted to for Earth Day. So I showed the kids a video since Earth days on the 22nd and we just kind of focused on How what it is and the history of it and how it started. And instead of planting trees, since we don't have the space or materials for that, I just decided to have the kids use recycled paper that I had. So from Wrapping paper, I guess that you get at the grocery store, you buy fragile items. I have them use that. Since is the right weight for origami, we attempted to fold origami trees. I say attempted because it was quite more much more difficult than I expected, but hopefully the kids had fun. Some of them seemed a little frustrated, but so next time, if I choose to do an origami project again, with kids, I'll make sure It's a very simplistic way.

Really good, students were ready to learn and eager to improve. They really look forward to cooking class every week! Staff was really friendly as well.
Today we made avacado-chocolate pudding. The ingredients were 1 Avacado, 1 Banana, Honey Vanilla Yogurt, melted chocolate, and sprinkles. The students improved on their fine motor skills by mashing and mixing everything together and learning how ingredients come together to make something new and how just because something is healthy doesn’t mean it isn’t yummy!

Really good! The kids were organized and ready to learn and the teaching facility was really nice and clean.
Today we built a water filtration device with a plastic water bottle, coffee filters, and rocks. The water was contaminated with dirt , leaves, and seeds and the students and I built a device to illustrate how hard it is to keep water clean once contaminated. The key takeaways was to conserve water and keep it unpolluted otherwise it can contaminate other freshwater sources. We also watched a few YouTube videos on my laptop to illustrate how the water cycle works
