Right now, the people who protect and interpret our national treasures are furloughed during the government shutdown. These dedicated educators are more than stewards of the forest, they’re storytellers, scientists, and mentors who usually spend much of their days inspiring kids.
With their work on pause, Grasshopper is partnering with furloughed rangers to bring their expertise directly into schools (while also providing them with meaningful, paid teaching opportunities during this difficult time).
Through interactive storytelling and exploration, children will discover the secrets of ancient Coast Redwood trees and the vital role they play in our ecosystem. This adventure nurtures a deeper appreciation for the environment and the stewardship of our treasured national parks. 🌿

Adrian was awesome this morning! The kids were engaged, and active listeners the whole time, and when he opened it up for questions the kids were thoughtful and asked related questions to his presentation. Thank you, Adrian!!
