Parking Instructions

Sunset has a parking lot on the Ortega St side. You may park in any spot, except the two marked as "RESERVED".

Arrival Instructions

When you arrive on the first day, Aaryn, Dani or Teo will meet you in the cafeteria. You can enter through the Ortega Street entrance, and the cafeteria is immediately on the left. We will show you where your class will be held. After your first day, you may go directly to your class location. Your students will come to you!

Departure Instructions

Parents may pick students up during the class, but any students remaining at the end of the experience can be sent to their respective ASLP teachers (they should know where to go, but if they don't they can be dropped in the cafeteria and a staff member will take them to their teacher).

About Melany

Cultural Dance and Cinema Teacher

Melany embarked on her artistic journey at the age of five, discovering a deep passion for traditional cultural dances. With a rich background in various instruments and dance forms such as West African, Ballet, Hip-Hop, and Modern Dance, she now specializes in Son Jarocho, a vibrant traditional music and dance from Veracruz, Mexico. Melany has over ten years of teaching and performing experience and played a pivotal role in producing an EP with her resident company. As a full-time Cinema student at SFSU, she beautifully merges her artistic talents and love for filmmaking, bringing creativity and joy into every classroom.
