Class Level Details

Parking Instructions

Please enter through the west driveway with our school flags and only park in that west parking lot. The church and another school use the other parking lot and drive up circle.

Arrival Instructions

From the west parking lot, find the west walkway down to the "basement" area, and it will lead you to the front door. If you're passing a gaga ball pit, you're on the right path. Do not go to the main church entrance. Ring the bell and be prepared with a valid ID to enter into the raptor system. Receive a visitor badge and proceed to your assigned classroom.

Departure Instructions

Carline Responsibilities

  1. Vendor Instructors leading a 2:30-3:30 class will dismiss students at 3:30. Responsibility for students will transfer to Instructional Assistants who will collect and escort students to the carline for pickup.
  2. Vendor Instructors leading a 2:30-3:30 class have no additional carline responsibilities and may leave after the space is clean.
  3. Vendor Instructors leading the 3:30-4:15 class will walk students out to the carline at 4:15. PRACAH expects Vendor Instructors to actively facilitate their students’ carline connections in a safe and courteous way.
  4. Vendor Instructors will wait at carline until students have been picked up or until 4:30.
  5. If students have not been picked up by 4:30, Vendor Instructors will walk remaining students to the office. Vendor Instructors will connect with office staff for a safe transfer of responsibility. Office staff will take final responsibility for the remaining students. Vendor Instructors are then free to leave as long as their space is clean.
  6. Lightning dismissals will be announced by the office. For either class time, instructors will lead students to the gym at dismissal. Parents will come in to collect students. Instructors will receive a sheet for parents to sign when students are picked up.

Cleaning Responsibilities

  1. Please make sure the room is tidy.
  2. Wipe down desks when needed but especially if students had snacks.
  3. Furniture will be returned to the original location.
  4. 2:30 classes: chairs must be put on top of desks if there is not a 3:30 ELO in the same room. 3:30 classes: always put chairs on top of desks.
  5. You may end class before dismissal time using the remaining time for students to help clean up.

What Parents Are Saying

“”
We LOVED everything about Grasshopper! The customer service experience was exceptional! I felt like so much intentionality was taken to ensure that the activity would be both age appropriate and fun for my kids. Our experience leader was so easy going and chatted with the kids during the experience, and really took the time to engage and get to know them. We are definitely going to be using Grasshopper again! Thank you!

Grasshopper offered my daughter an opportunity to learn in a vibrant, fun setting that was continuously customized for her attention span and interests. Her Grasshopper teacher was fun, engaging and supremely personable. She took the time to get to know my daughter before diving into anything. I felt more than comfortable leaving my daughter in such capable hands…and love that she truly learned some new things from the experience. We will be using Grasshopper regularly to broaden her horizons and expose her to new concepts in a safe and compelling way. The icing on the cake is that the experience took place in our home, at a time that was convenient for us!

Our Grasshopper experience was amazing! I have four very curious kids at different ages with different interests, and the experience had all four of them engaged the whole time. Also, as an educator, I was very impressed with how the teacher led the program. She obviously knew what she was doing, and the minute she left, my kids were asking for another experience.
