🎨 Kids will dive into the vibrant world of color and creativity, exploring the magic of color relationships and the impact of complementary pops. Through hands-on activities like cut-and-paste collage and imaginative drawing, children will not only enhance their artistic skills but also express a kaleidoscope of emotions through their creations.

Young artists will have the opportunity to create magnificent shadowboxes, where their ideas truly come to life in three dimensions! This creative journey is designed to ignite imagination, nurture self-expression, and foster an appreciation for the beauty of art. With each colorful project, children's confidence will blossom as they explore, experiment, and discover the endless possibilities of art! 💡✨

Parking Instructions

Street parking can be found around in the neighborhood.

Arrival Instructions

PJ will be able to open the back gate for you. If you enter through the front of the school, they can buzz you in as long as you say you are with the YMCA Enrichment.

There MUST ALWAYS be a YMCA staff when an instructor is with a group of students. Youth will meet Kendra and Grasshopper Teacher at the tables outside of the cafeteria. Students will be dismissed at 3:45p and transition to the classrooms at 3:55p.

Departure Instructions

PJ will dismiss the students accordingly.

Graphic Designer & Art Educator

Jason is a seasoned graphic designer and illustrator with over twenty-five years of experience, blending technical precision with heartfelt creativity to inspire younger generations. Having collaborated with children on dynamic projects, such as leading workshops for the San Francisco Boys & Girls Club and directing magazine photo shoots for American Cheerleader Magazine, he expertly channels kids' imaginations. Jason's passion for storytelling shines through his work on children's comics, while his admiration for education, influenced by his parents' esteemed careers, fuels his desire to engage students, particularly in art, journalism, and music. A former competitive swimmer and music enthusiast, Jason fosters a supportive environment that encourages curiosity and transformation.
