Through engaging activities, kids will practice greetings, broadening their cultural horizons while enhancing listening and speaking skills. With lots of opportunities for interactive exchanges, every child will find their confidence growing as they use new phrases to introduce themselves and greet friends in Mandarin. It's a heartwarming adventure into a vibrant language, all while building a foundation for communication and connection. 🐼

Parking Instructions

You can park in the huge parking lot downslope of the school near the Armenian Church.

Arrival Instructions

Please pick up students on the playground. Mirza will show you where to do this. 

Departure Instructions

Bring any students who haven't been picked up by their parents back to the playground.

Mandarin, Science, and Dance Teacher
Joanna, passionate about inspiring young minds, brings a vibrant blend of expertise and enthusiasm to the classroom. Born and raised in Taiwan, she graduated from UC Davis with a major in microbiology. Joanna has a rich teaching background in Mandarin, English, science, and math, sharing her love for learning with students of all ages. She is particularly adept at creating engaging online experiences and finds joy in witnessing her students' growth. In her free time, Joanna channels her creativity into cooking and dancing, having led dance workshops during college. She looks forward to sparking a love of Mandarin in her students.
