Animal Safari STEM Explorers

Parking:

The teacher can park at any of the visitor parking spots that are not assigned to any donor family. If those spots are not available, they can park on the side of the street across from the school.

Arrival instructions:

The teacher needs to check into the front office before heading to the STEAM room. Kids will show up after their regular class ends at the STEAM room. 

​

If the teacher can communicate with the parents by email before the 1st class, it'd be a good idea to remind parents to inform their kids to head straight to the STEAM room after class ends to start their enrichment class. 

​

Departure instructions:

The teacher will clean up and put the classroom back to its original condition. The teacher will inform parents, in advance, preferably by email, before 1st class starts, that parents/caretakers will need to pick up their students from the classroom.

​

If some students need to head to the on-site after-school center, New Horizon, then the teacher will need to walk them to New Horizon after the last kid has been picked up. New Horizon's director, Ajmir, will be expecting the students to return to aftercare. 

​

Site-specific instructions:

The teacher will utilize the STEAM room that's opposite the Art classroom.
