🧶 Dive into a world where imagination weaves into reality! In this enchanting learning series, children will embark on a creative journey through the art of knitting. With colorful yarn and a sprinkle of imagination, they'll learn foundational stitching techniques, explore measuring and adapting, and craft delightful yarn creatures that spring from their minds. As they knit their way through this whimsical adventure, students will not only enhance fine motor skills but also unleash their creativity, designing fanciful friends out of yarn. With each stitch, their confidence in creation grows, sparking joy and a sense of accomplishment.

Arrival Instructions

Check in at office and then come to BEST office in room 103. Please contact Andrea prior to first class to get set up on CampBrain.

Departure Instructions

Return a clipboard that contains a key, instructions and roster.

Site-Specific Information

All are classrooms of different sizes. Some can hold 20 students, some can hold 16.

Math and Spanish Tutor & Nature Lover

Sabrina brings a wealth of experience and passion to the classroom, having spent years as a school district tutor covering subjects from math to Spanish for students in grades K-12. She recently enhanced her skills at Think Together, guiding children through enrichment and fun in after-school programs. A Santa Cruz native, Sabrina’s love for nature is as deep as the surrounding redwood forests. With a BA in Business Administration, she is a published writer who enjoys knitting, poetry, and playing her ukulele. Her vibrant personality and strong passion for education create a joyful and engaging learning environment for her students.
