Okay. High-class went really, really well today. We had like the teacher sitting in or not teacher. I think it was like a guest person sitting in from grasshopper. So she came in like, maybe five minutes late, but it was okay. I wish I could have had with her like, before class, but I think she liked couldn't find parking but I chatted with her after she's really, really sweet. But yeah, it was kind of fun. Having another person in there because, you know, these kids, they're kind of a rambunctious Us Group, which I've mentioned in the other like little videos, but just because they're like, really passionate, and I think they're pretty comfortable with me, they're really engaged in the activity but sometimes they'll say some crazy things. So like having another, you know, adult in the room to just be like, oh my goodness, can you believe that was kind of funny because that's usually doesn't happened. But overall class went really, really well. I think that at the beginning, I showed them like a new technique about how to like incorporate the knitting projects. Sorry. You could add different colors to the project, you're doing. So we had everyone try and do that today. Some students who are like a little bit further behind, we're actually able to like Nick consistently and I think everyone in class today was like totally knitting very well, very consistently so that was really a huge. Plus, I think if anything it was just like at the end. We also I also brought up a new project because it is like something a class. You want to like Build Together, a big like creative guy. So I thought the best way to To do that was to just all work together and make like a unicorn out of yarn and I had chose the Unicorn because it has enough pieces to like make it and everyone didn't like the fact that was unicorn but after that I got a little rambunctious but we were able to like reel it in. I had to talk to a couple of kiddos kind of see like, hey, I understand you don't want to do this but sometimes we have to. But anyway, we handled it pretty well. So I think it all went really good at the end.

Okay, just have to excuse me, because I am in my car now today. It seems as though I had maybe one can drop looking at my role. It shows that I am now. It was kind of crazy at the hang of it. There are still like maybe one or two kids that are still struggling to kind of get motivated. But I think at this point, everyone knows how to knit. I don't want to keep doing it like kind of mundane and they just kind of want more exciting or can cost things. But the people who I had last class, I thought we're not going to want to do it, we're like super, super excited and like really motivated and gotten so much further. I think the only thing I have to work on is having the kids because they get excited when they lose their progress because then they can talk to me and like I come over there and help fix it and get them where they are. So they are kind of like oh no I messed up on purpose. So next class I'll have to kind of like put a hard but you can do it.

Okay, so teaching for me today went really really successfully. I had a lot of fun, kind of, like I said, the last video that I had messaged that the kids are kind of pessimistic when it comes to like the activity. They're doing knitting for like, oh, I can't do it, I can't do it, I can do it. So I had set it so that the kids who are having the most trouble would come up to me at the very beginning of class and we would just work together and doing it and the whole knitting process. But yeah, overall it's pretty slow going. But I'm definitely seeing a Lot of progress, even from just like, the previous class when I last saw them. So, we're on an upward Trend, they seem to be doing really well. A couple of kids actually started like knitting consistent rows, which we hadn't gotten to yet. Like five of them were at the point of like being able to save their progress, which was really, really cool. So I ended up doing that at the end of class meeting Trimark there. There little progress and put their name on it, but yeah, everything went really, really well. I was really proud of them and the strengths. Know, the lengths that they have achieved in only three classes but they still seem to be pretty pessimistic. I think they're just like, oh, this is too hard because it is tricky. They have a little hands and small knitting needles. It's very intricate at first, but once they get the hang of it, they're definitely capable of doing it, which was really satisfying to see them start to get it and it was really fun. So, other than that, yeah, you know, they're a little negativities, it's kind of funny because, you know, they're enjoying class with me and they're laughing and running around. So, They definitely are enjoying the class 2 and trying to get the hang of it. It's still kind of difficult you know bouncing around between students but it's a lot more manageable than it was the first two classes just because like more kids are able to do it independently. So there's still those kids that are like I leave them for 2 seconds and give up and start Lino, do it talking to their neighbor, but once I come back to him I see, you know who's made progress, who's maybe need to focus on for next time?
Okay class went really well. Today I feel like I came extra prepared just because of some kids requested that. I play a video for them to see like the process of knitting. How to knit, I also felt like today's class, the kids were a lot more comfortable, although there were a couple kids missing and the site wasn't loading to do the role for the kids that I had with the company on. Like, they're this School site because they want me to take role for them as well as grasshoppers. So it was good to have that back up because I didn't have their names and just wanted to make sure every kid was accounted for. So having the little taking role of that, I ended up taking screenshots of just to make sure that I knew each and every kid that was present and who was missing. So, that was really cool. And other than that, everything went really well.

Okay, classroom pretty well today. I'm getting the hang of my student base. I have not had so many students that need to work on something that's like. So, like one-on-one before, so teaching them all had an, it has been interesting to say the least but it's been really, really fun. I think I'm starting to. Yeah. Like I said earlier, definitely certain understand like their personality based like it surprises me. Every time, how every student like class is different but But this group really seems to be just like they love like complaining, but it's funny, so it's okay. But yeah, they're always telling me like, oh my gosh, I can't do this and then like we ended up coming together at the end of class and I was like hey guys, how many of you know how to cast on that. We learn a lot spots and like everyone raised their hand and I was like yeah I remember when like the class before that everyone at the end of class was like, I can't do this, I'm never gonna finish. I can do this. So I think that They are just a little bit of negative Nellie's and then they start to get it and then they're like, oh I got it. There's also a couple kids in the class. You do know how to knit having them walk around. And also kind of help me where I can't help because it takes a minute to like, restart a student, when they've messed it up, and then start from scratch and reteach it how to do it. So, walking around the classroom takes a little bit of time, but yeah, they've been really helpful. So I'm kind of leaning on them too, but overall things were went really well. I had my slide deck prepared, I Like a big blown up version of the six steps of knitting. So if they couldn't ask me directly they could look at the board. But I think that next class is going to be finally coming together for them because the class before this they are all confusing than it came together for them pretty quickly this time. So fingers crossed for that and then everything else was good.

Okay. So, overall today went pretty well. I had slides that I was going to use, but we didn't focus on them too much. I kind of just ended up showing them visually with like, my own knitting needles. How to like base of do the basic cast on knitting part and that was kind of chaos because there's so many kids that like, people were calling out left and right for like individual health, which is totally fine, but it got a little bit chaotic near the end but we were able to really back in. I was like, okay, guys, like we're not just calling out we're going to raise our hands. I think everyone was A little bit excited but it was a little. They were a little frustrated too because you know, learning something new and not getting it the first time, it is kind of difficult. But yeah, I think the next class will be a little bit better because they'll have a Basics. They've held the needles. Now, they're not like totally foreign to what we're trying to do. So we'll be able to do a little bit better, but yeah. Overall I think I was prepared. I think it went. Well, the only other thing today is that I'm not logged into the site at this school Camp. Brain is what it's called, and I've logged in before. So, I think before I leave, today, I'm going to head down to that main office and chat with her again. She said it was logged in, but it wasn't. And that's like, I think this is like the third thing that's been a little bit disorganized with the school. So I'm not surprised and I'm not like, oh no, what am I gonna do? I'm just going to go check in with them and then I'll probably be fixed by next class. So overall, we're all good to go. Yay.
Okay, class went pretty good today. I sent a message through, you know, the text read that there was a little bit of a hiccup that I was told that I was going to have worked through grasshopper. I thought I had only 5 students. So I got knitting needles and materials for five, and then I ended up having 12 when I came in person. So that was a little bit of a scramble. I had to like, cut the individual yarn. Thank goodness. I had extra needles like knitting needles in my like personal bag. So everyone had one, but they were all like different sizes. So they kind of like some people had an easier time than others with like the tiny knitting needles. So, that was kind of a little bit of a hiccup. And then another hiccup was, when I was walking up to the new classroom today. I came extra early and everything I was wanted to be prepared and then the person that was walking me up told me that I didn't need to go and collect the students which I had to do the last time I was here because I was just here for another class, he was like, oh you don't have to collect them, these are older kids. So they know, just where to go there. Right up to the room and I was like, okay, are you sure even like second graders they're young and he was like, yeah, I know totally fine they'll come up. So I started class, I only had five kids and I started class and we're like about, you know, halfway through the intro when the teacher came in the guard Duty with like 10 other kids who are all waiting for me downstairs to pick them up, so that that was unfortunate. I had to, you know, start over with. So all the five kids had to hear everything twice and then Yeah, all of those kiddos were waiting down there for me and she said, oh no, you were supposed to pick him up. I was like, ah, well that's I think that's just a school thing. I think there was like they've had multiple miscommunications because that was all. So, I went into the classroom today and they had like apparently told another teacher they were in here, too. And that's happened before at this school were like another teacher has come into my classroom saying, like, oh, I'm teaching here too, so a little disorganized, but overall, okay,

Okay, classmen pretty well. Today, we did kind of an arts and crafts activity, because for today, we were reviewing our final project for next week, which is everyone coming up with their own animal. That they want to save fun, facts about and then we reveal it. So they kind of are doing what I've been doing every single class but all on the last day. So I kind of had I don't know if you've heard Wild Kratts, that video like an educational video about animals playing in the background while they did an arts and crafts on the paper plates making extinct animals, because that's what we were working on today. We're doing extinct animals, so I still had an animal to reveal and it was pretty good. It was pretty fun cuz they all were like, kind of understanding what we were trying to do, everyone. Two different animals that are either going extinct or extinct. They got to take those home. And while we were doing that, they're watching the really work on that craft. I kind of pulled kids up one by one and that's where I did like one-on-one time just to make sure everyone is prepared for next week where we present. I think the first graders thought that they were presenting today. So they already had their facts in in the class and they're ready to go. So, I just went over those quickly and I said, oh, we can, you know, present those now if you want, which they did. So we ended up doing that. But overall, it was pretty good, so half of them have already presented. Next half will do next class and I still have an activity for then to. So I think it'll all be good. Yeah, that was pretty successful. I think the only issue was when we were going over everything. Some of the kids would overhear what the other kid was talking about. Because obviously, curious minds, but I think one of the kids guessed it and it was a neat animal. So I don't know how she guessed it, but she swore that she guessed it. But I think she's overheard it which Kind of sad but oh well all good.

Okay, class went really good today. The only thing that was really frustrating. For me, I think was just trying to get the kids to pay attention today. They were kind of feeding off of each other and being disruptive. I'm trying to figure out different ways that I can have to kind of not punished but discipline it when they're being disruptive to other students especially when we're trying to learn. We got pretty held up on time today because they were just being chaos. So I did threaten if that's the word you would use. To talk to their parents and then everyone kind of fell in line. But I've talked about that before, like, okay guys, are we going to pay attention, or am I gonna have to talk to you about your parents regulars home? And that has worked in the past, but I think I do actually kind of want to follow through with that. So now, I guess next steps would be, to figure out how to get the context of parents. And let them know that a kiddos are not paying attention or being disruptive to other students for the parents, but all in all other than that class went pretty good. We got through the class session pretty well. We learned about cats and their different physics that are applied to cats, and so many different ways and it was good. So yeah.

Okay, classroom. Well today I really have no notes to write home about. We kind of got into a Groove. Now with the students they seem pretty mellow eager to learn. I think maybe for the subject today they might have been pretty knowledgeable when it so maybe they were like kind of bored. But I honestly, I think only one or two is board versus the other ones that were kind of interested in learning about camouflage and animals, but there were some fun facts, they didn't know. So at least we were able to learn about those. Those, and we were able to Guess the Animal today, which was really cool of the second time that's happened. Overall, I think it was successful. Everyone was respectful and paying attention. So yeah, all good, all around.

All right, class went really well. Today, we showed up an hour earlier had a guest speaker. So, we got our guests past and we got everything figured out on the online site. So class went really well for some reason today, they were all listening very well. We learned about stem. Its applications, we got an engineer in and we just played a little game with it all. And after when I asked what they learned, they all had answers. So pretty good. All right.
