The class went very well, the students enjoyed the story they had read to them, and the craft went very well. Ocasional redirection was needed, but classroom management was effective. They had fun!

The class went very well! Engagement and interaction with this group seems to be best to getting active listening and participation. The kids enjoyed the story they read and remained engaged in their other activity. Classroom management was far improved from the last week.

The students had a story time on the mat, and then created a sea animal booklet, coloring the sheet cutting and folding.

This week, the kids less willing to sit and listen and had trouble focusing on activities. Interaction seems to be best at keeping engagement, but when it’s someone else’s turn, there’s some trouble maintaining interest.
