Today went, well, everyone was engaged and stayed in their seats and talked about the subject with each other. And with me for the most part, some stragglers that they are young. So it's to be expected. It went well.
Today, we talked about how bees and butterflies pollinate flowers by going from plant to plant and caring Colin. And we did some art made a little diagram of the process.

It was OK . There is a large range of heat from kindergarten to third grade and many as a children have a hard time listening, sitting still following directions. It was difficult for me to help the children who were paying attention and listening because I had to constantly redirect others. I would say at this point the split was about six children needed redirection every couple minutes and seven children were able to work independently. I think I just need to make it much much simpler. Getting to draw and use glue as well as explore beans and wet them seemed to be more than this group could handle.
Today we talked about beans and sprouting. We examined black beans, garbanzo beans, and lentils. Each child had a chance to decorate their name on a piece of paper, using markers, pencils, glue, and beans, as well as help to soak the beans and rinse them to prepare them for sprouting

I don’t think it went very well. The system they have for picking the children up is confusing and widespread across campus so it takes much longer than time that is allowed. I got there 20 minutes early and I still didn’t have all the children in the classroom together until maybe 345 similarly at the end of class not only is it hard to get 13 kindergarten through second graders to listen and clean up but once you do, you have to get them to stay together to take them to their next spot, which was not clearly marked on the paper that I was given.
We shared our name and everyone had a chance to draw and create a name tag to use in the future . unfortunately, we spent a good chunk of the time gathering the children from a variety of locations on campus so by the time we got to our classroom which (someone else had already claimed and then Finally left) the children were feeling over excited and confused, and I was a little confused myself
