Journalism & School Newspaper: What's the Story?

πŸ“š

October 3, 2025

Millbrook Elementary School

It was great! The students were respectful, kind, and engaged.

Today, I worked with three students and we talked about the elements of Journalism, answering the questions. Who, what why? When where, and how they then? Created some interview questions for each other to interview each other? And so since there were three of them plus me, they were able to interview three people and gather information and then They also wrote about a fictional question of around their interest of if they could dream of the perfect blank. So if their interests was cats. So if they could dream about the perfect day with cats, what would that look like? And so they learned how to write fictional stories based on information that they interviewed other people about.
