Synapse School

It was definitely exciting to meet the kids and teach them about the nutrition of edamame, but there definitely is space for improvement for grabbing their attention and keeping them well behaved during class.

The kids are mostly really excited during the class, but it was a little hard keeping them sitting down and listening. The kids are all safe and did not get injured during the cooking class. Two of the kids had to leave mid-class because of their misbehavior in the restroom while washing hands. A teacher from the school informed me that they will be cleaning up the mess and will not be joining the rest of the class. The kids were dismissed after class into the front playground (under Ms. Lexi’s supervision). Overall, we still had a fun time learning how to make a quick and nutritious snack from edamame.
