Meli is a dedicated educator with a rich background in the arts, holding a B.A. in Theater Arts with a minor in Dance from UCSC. Their experience spans bilingual musical education for young children to roles as a PLAY facilitator, emphasizing the significance of childhood and play with Parents Nook. Now in their first year with Grasshopper, Meli is excited to inspire and learn alongside local youth. They are passionate about cultural social justice and community building, bringing a warm and engaging presence to the classroom. When not teaching, Meli enjoys movement grooving, exploring nature, and collaborating on artistic projects.
