Today went really good for me as the teacher I came in and was just greeted with such enthusiasm. It was so fun for me and working with everyone is just so rewarding, as I've said a million times already but it's just really just hammering it and how awesome it is to be around these kids. Kids and be able to experience their wonder and their joy. And for me, it's just such a good time and a good experience and I genuinely just love hanging out with them, getting to know all of them. Their personalities are like fully out. Now, I feel like they are level of trust with me that they are expressing themselves without holding back and just super awesome to see them be free and and confident in themselves. And just like holding a space for them to be able to express who they are genuinely and with such passion and it's like, very just lights me up. I love it. And I had an awesome day today. Yeah, and happy Friday.

Today one super great, the kids were feeling really excited to like participate in activities today and it was a bit of a longer you know time that we had with them and there was a bit fewer of them as well, which made it just really easy to like manage and actually have activities going on smoothly of course, still chaotic but super fun. We had them doing like a play. We set up this whole place For them, they were doing that. They're performing on the stage and then was like, first we planned out the play performed, it the whole thing, we had people doing the stagehands and all that it was super awesome. And then after that, most of the kids had already left, it was pretty late at that point. And we went outside with the rest of them and played some volleyball and soccer. So it was just a really fantastic. Overall, the kids were, we're really feeling awesome today and just when I got there, they all started screaming. I got Miss Melly, and they all came and hugged me in those like, so fun and I love hanging out with them. And I think for them, it went, it was really fun today. There was only a couple, you know, incidents between friends but we cleared it all up right away. Everyone, at the end of the experience, all the apologies were happening. And everyone was happy and good to go. And yeah, everyone just in such a good receptive. Mood, even when they're little squabbles, came up, like it was just able to pass super easy. I think I've gotten to a point with these kids where I can really talk to them and we can just move through it really, really gracefully. And so it's just awesome to see how today went because it felt super rewarding for all the work I've been. Doing with them.

Today, I want good for me just really enjoy spending time with the kids even when they're a little bit more on the energetic side today, it was a little bit more challenging but not nearly the same level that it was in the beginning because we have build that trust and a level of respect that is definitely getting stronger. So it's very rewarding to just see the shift and See them. Yeah. Becoming a lot more receptive to our Authority, which is great and then it allows us to be less like authoritarian, you know what I mean? Like we can they listen to us so you don't have to put down the Hammer as hard and that's super cool but yeah, it was a little bit loud and chaotic today but ultimately I had a great time.

Today the students were a little bit more energetic. Sorry, I have the hiccups then usual not necessarily than usual but like there were just showing their energy today and we've been, I've been really working, very hard to work with a few of the kids. Specifically, the ones that the parents are voicing that they need help doing the homework. With these kids trying to work on homework with like specific. Kids who definitely need the extra help. Of course at the end of the day, when it's just me and Jessica and there's 30 kids running around. It's a bit hard to give everyone that individual like attention they need when it comes to the homework and I really wish we could provide better support for that. So like on Monday when there were the extra tutors that was super awesome and I think that really brought down the energy level a bit and everyone was just able to get that attention that they need. So the any opportunity for us to have a couple more tutors in the room during that three to four period would be super awesome. But yeah, we're doing it and it's going really good. And yeah, it's very rewarding as usual.

Class went really well. Today, I feel like I'm crying bonds with the students. All of them are so fun to talk to you and unique in their own ways and getting to know them and learning their strengths and how they each individually shine and you know show up in their own cool. Ways is really fun very rewarding work doing around here and they're all super sweet even when they're not and it's it's going awesome.

Today, I went good. It was a longer day it started at 2:30 and so we had the kids working on homework until for we had them all sitting and they were actually doing a really good job listening and getting their work done. It's been increasingly easier to work with them and yeah, today went really swell getting through to some kids who are more challenging to work with and that's really rewarding. Being so I would say it's going great.

Today went great for me. I had a lovely time with the kids. Most of them were listening. I got ya. All of the kids are at home work. We're doing their homework and I had a good time today. Wait for tomorrow.

Today went really good. All of the kids were doing their homework inside or doing quiet activities. Today, we continue to do the seating assignments and I think they even improved from last time. It was a pretty good day. I think the kids are starting to understand the disciplinary consequences that will happen if they aren't working with us, you know, it's going to be a process but it's starting to go into motion, I believe. It's a lot of came and helped kind of lay out, lay down the law in the beginning of the class today. So that was awesome. And then replay went really well. As usual, I just was doing homework and drawing with the kids, well Miss Jessica and Jose were playing doing more sport activities with them. So it went really well and yeah,

The class today for me, one really great. I think that I didn't have to raise my voice too much, and the kids were super sweet to me today. Honestly they're you know, they're still a little rambunctious but I think they're starting to get that. We are the authority and then they need to respect us. I had a kid tell me that I was the best after school teacher ever today. So that was really sweet and it's continuing to help them draw and stuff. And they're super into it. They love to draw with the paper. I bring in the pens and everything so that's really fun. So it was really good day for me as well.

Today we had a pretty good day. Everyone was able to sit in their seats. We had minimal running around and screaming, I would say compared to other days. A lot of kids did go through with doing a lot of their homework. We and Jessica were walking around and helping kids out. There were no issues during free play. Nobody was hurting each other. We really laid down the rules and I think repetition and having them. Repeat it back to us, too. To is a very key factor in that. Also, we're going to be taking the pointers given to, you know, do more like respond or listen and then respond, kind of stuff. Like the Clapping patterns, having the kids do that back to us. You know, I think that'll really help in terms of creating some sort of structure, so they know when to listen and because it's a little bit challenging, getting them all on our, like, to pay attention to us. But I think we are doing a great job working towards really having a mutual respect between us and the kids. So I'm excited.

Class today for me went really well. Even without Jessica there, I think I was able to Get some control over the kids. I think they're starting to get to know me and starting to respect me a little better. And so, I think it went pretty well for me, having Samantha there to help was really cool and the USF volunteer as well. Made it very smooth. Yeah, it was a really chill good day.

Today. Me and the kids we made some pipe cleaner bracelets. I got a bunch of beads and stuff for them and then we also did some fun coloring stuff I printed out a bunch of new cool coloring sheets we played with that for a while. They were really well-behaved. Actually this time. I feel like I'm gaining some respect, some authorities, so that's cool. And yeah, I feel like today went really good. Good. You know, we did that for an hour and then we all went outside and we're just yeah, playing outside freely and some of the kids don't want it to color and stuff. So we had a couple things going on and went great.

Class today from, he went great. As I've said, the kids, I'm getting to know them better. And so, I feel like we're starting to build relationships and that's just really awesome. Yeah. Just understanding them better. And be able to talk and have, you know, really good. Conversations with five and six-year-olds but it's awesome. You know, there always Just yeah, can underestimate these ones and yeah it was a great time.

Classmate great today at first, you know, chaotic a whole these kids running around. But we got a really good hold on them. And then I think we're starting to build that relationship that trust that respect still keeping it fun but I'm becoming more confident in talking to them and today they were you know, rambunctious but receptive it was great. It was also nice to know as the kids would go home. The group would dwindle and then I could actually kind of have some one-on-one time. Time to get to know a couple of them a little better. So I feel like I'm building pretty cool relationships with the kids and I feel like they had a great time. Like they were super interactive and into what we're doing and it was awesome.

Cross was okay for me. I should have probably brought different stuff as well besides just the physical activities but it was still fun. They were just very hyper which is fine, of course. I, Need to get better at controlling them. It's a little bit tricky when there's so many and they're so small, but I'm definitely getting the hang of it as I go. So I'm looking forward to expanding that skill for sure. Talking with Jessica was really cool as well. I think together doing the full after school program is going to be a bit different and really good experience.

Today we as a class for doing some activities that I learned growing up in Hawaii, we were doing some Maca, he key games. It was pretty fun. Again, the kids were really Rowdy and mostly wanted to play outside, but we were able to do some cool stuff and then they kind of were playing freely. But it was fun. We did that activity.

Class went well for me. Yeah, it's just about being quick on your feet. And Down to shift gears. If you need to, I was a little bit low energy today just but I think everyone was super, you know, down to work with me. And I had a really good time. And luckily, all the kids were, yeah, interested in the craft that was for a little while and also made me yeah. Feel a bit more energized just with their abundance. Lots of energy. So that was really, really good time. A great time. Yep.

Today for my class. I had all the kids sculpting little figures with Clay. I brought a bunch of like kid-friendly crafting clay to class and a whole bunch of different colors and everyone else seemed pretty excited. We did that for, I had them for attention for about like half an hour. I would say and then things started getting a little chaotic they wanted to run around but I did manage to keep their attention for like I don't know I would say good 45 minutes of the hour and then I was kind of started doing a cleanup routine and that was that it went really smoothly. The kids were again, really wanting to be outside and play at a certain point just with coming out of school. I think, you know, they get really Rowdy but they were all super interested for it and it worked out nicely. I would say look at Tom and I think the kids did too. Yep.
