as the educator today with today, went well, Starting off, I worked with an older section kids, I work with second graders. Today, they were about own stage 16 of them. And with my origami / geometry class, I allow them to select their papers. I assigned. Just a leaders when it came to like the selection process. You know, I tried to do like single-file line exercises. I tried to do everything that involved like if you can hear me, no, touch your head, you know, these basic sort of crowd control initiatives and I think they went really well towards the end. I should have prepared a little bit more material and I think I've realized this. So I'm definitely gonna have to look at that, you know, fourth postulate of grasshopper, but all in all, I think today went very well and I would like to continue my craft. I think I'm going to choose a different origami tape. Next time one that takes a little bit longer. I might choose a pumpkin instead of a butterfly. Love November.
Today, the students and I focused on creating a butterfly with my origami book! I worked through the some basic geometric shapes, such as the right triangle, equilateral triangle, and the square vs rectangles. There were also some good instances of allowing the children to teach each other (I would assign "peer leaders").

Classes at Easter day. Was amazing. I had so much fun. I'm not gonna lie. I was very nervous going in. I haven't talked in a while. I've been in that setting and quite a bit, but it was very, very nice. The kids are extremely, extremely Pleasant to work with. They're very curious and were asking about all these different folds and telling me that they're making Viking hats and bigger planes and ships with Michael simple like crimp fold, which was it was really good too. See and the student aides were amazing. They just helped facilitate the area. I felt like I was well resource and yeah all around. I felt like it was a very very nice time.
Amazing. So today, the kiddos and I made some paper airplanes to begin with and I taught them. The difference between equilateral triangle fold and a right. Triangle fold start off with a numbers game. It's kind of being like all right everyone we're gonna go around the room and say your favorite number or the biggest number and that really got everyone super hyped up. I brought a hot dog at as I think everyone liked It's um yeah. Then we went into snowflakes where I taught everyone about the different like alternating folds, we have with paper and the importance of you know putting something down with one finger and then moving on because they were kid, you know, because these students were kindergarteners, it was a topic that didn't really come super easily but with a little bit of time and patience and with the amazing help with student aides went really swimming with Then we had a little paper airplane, throwing contest just out in the hallway to could throw. There's the furthest and yeah we worked on waiting, we work on you know quite when it's just talking and all in all it was just a very productive in good day.
