About Mark

Mark is a semi-retired teacher with a gift for guiding student writers with understanding and grace. As an Amazon bestselling author and owner of Prep Academy Tutors of Boulder and Jefferson Counties, he brings a wealth of insight and experience to his teaching. Mark thrives on inspiring learners and supporting tutors. Outside the classroom, you'll find Mark enjoying the trails with his Brazilian rescue dog, Bianca. He enjoys all sorts of sports — especially cycling, swimming, and martial arts. Mark also has a vibrant spiritual life that enhances his perspective and enriches his teaching.
