About Rochelle

Rochelle is an long-time music educator who's been teaching children since 1996, and a Master Teaching Artist in edu-tainment since 1998. After working in the television industry for a decade, her career moved into public affairs and then afterschool programming. With a deep-rooted career in multidisciplinary learning, Rochelle is an experienced and energetic teacher with an emphasis in music education. She's worked in both early childhood programming as well as afterschool settings with school aged children, making her sought-after for orchestrating rocking concerts, invigorating workshops, and dynamic assemblies! General music education, piano, percussion and more are all her jam 🎵 which she delivers through wholly unique, fun, outside-the-box and memorable experiences for kids.

The children were extra high energy today so I took the time to let them dance for about a minute….after shaking the wiggles out… we got back to work…

The 4:00 PK class at the FASSV started off with taking roll and the children singing back HERE…. Then we did a Kodaly rhythm lesson and a music symbol recognition board game…then we watched and listened to the CHIPMUNKS Christmas Song video and afterward.. We learned the song .
